Made “NICKY” Wirawan

Managing Director

Nicky is the ‘Captain’ of Bali Marine Diving. He is vastly experienced, having held the senior role since 1990 and a PADI Master Instructor level qualification since 1999. Nicky possesses in-depth knowledge about the diving industry, including vast experience at dive sites across Indonesia and South East Asia.

Known as the “Lord of Mola” by our local divers, Nicky’s friendly demeanour and big smile has charmed a great number of Oceanic Sun Fish underwater and of course, many of our guests. He’ll be able to ensure that your dive trip is both an awe-inspiring and fun experience, both on land and underwater.

Nyoman Sudiasa

Dive Master

This friendly face who have a very infectious laughter… have been with us for more a decade, Sudiasa is affectionately known around here as “Asa”. Asa is incredibly knowledgeable and a great Dive Master, possessing great professional experience in many advanced diving sites around Bali.

Asa has great knowledge in diving trips of all levels, and is always ready to provide you with any form of underwater assistance during your diving endeavour. He is able to show and guide you to see lots of incredible sea creature from tiny to large!

Jance Harimisa (a.k.a Jance)

PADI Instructor

Falling in Love with Bunaken, right at his doorstep of his hometown Menado, Sulawesi
Jance started his diving career since 1997 and became a Divemaster in Togian islands only after 3 years,
Then he moved to Bali in 2007  where he became PADI instructor by 2012.

During his 20 years diving experiences he dove in so many location such as Bunaken islands ,Lembeh, Bangka Gangga, Togian Islands, Komodo Islands, wakatobi islands ,alor, maumere, banda sea, ambon, Raja ampat islands.
And now he always eager to show it to you all !

Albert Tanu (a.k.a Robert)

PADI Instructor

Our Japanese and English speaking Kupang originated dive instructor has been diving since 2004.
To pursue his diving career he moved to bali 10 years ago and still loving Bali as a dive destination.
Since then in 2015 he became a dive instructor and loves introducing indonesia dive scene to beginners.
He also loves to explore other region such as Menado, bunaken and bangka to dive and wishes to explore more area in indonesia archipelago.

Suban Carlos (a.k.a Suban)

PADI & SSI Instructor
After qualifying as a Divemaster in 2011, Suban always dive in Manado, Sangir and Raja Ampat. Then he moved from Manado in 2014 because of Suban’s love of diving and educating guest about the beauty of the ocean thrive him to be an instructor only after 1 year in Bali. Apart from diving, he loves to practice his english skill with his international guest.

Bagus Hendra (a.k.a.Agus Gobang)

Divemaster

This Balinese Bli started diving in 2008 and straight away he was hooked with the beauty of the sea. An adrenaline explorer and came from a long family line of  sea lover of course being a Divemaster is his calling. Finally last year Agus qualified as our youngest divemaster in BMD team! However he already explore vast dive area in Bali and is very capable to show you the beauty of the ocean and carry his family legacy. If you want to know why his nickname is differ so much from his name … why don’t you dive and ask him : )

Made Rachmawati

Administrative Assistant

Made is that friendly voice over the phone. She handles a variety of administrative tasks essential to our business for almost over 20 years now. She always ensure all details behind our successful adventures, such as catering, transportation and booking etc. Whenever you are in Semawang Beach, Sanur… pop in and say Hi to this lovely lady with a huge smile 🙂 and you definitely be greeted with a Balinese hospitality.

Richard Warneke

Marketing

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Richard always returning to Bali for his love of diving. For the better part of a decade Richard has been an underwater photographer, capturing mola molas, sharks, barracudas, schools of manta rays, and many more. Above water, Richard and his team in Melbourne manages the BMD brand experience, marketing and Web presence to spread the words about Bali and Diving world. And it’s always a good excuse to always coming back to Bali ! 🙂

Ketut Wirajaya

Founder

As the proud founder of Bali Marine Diving, Ketut is a pioneer of the Bali Diving Industry. Ketut is the discoverer of many great dive sites around Bali. He is also the first named Balinese champion of the Indonesian National Sports Games (PON), having won the category for Underwater Navigation (OBA) back in 1981 and 1985.

Ketut is also an expert fishing guide, possessing innate knowledge on Bali’s greatest fishing spots. His great knowledge in marine biodiversity and ecology has guided many towards witnessing a variety of rare Balinese fish species, some of which include Marlin, Giant Trevally, Yellow fin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel and more.
